Little big place. Seems a bit small, but it is packed with great music facts. I really enjoyed the way the museum takes your through the different eras, music styles, and present the artists. If you are spending some time in LA, I recommend visiting the place. If you are a music aficionado, maybe going to LA for this museum might be rewarding. When I was there, I really liked the Michael Jackson exhibit, and the progression of the Grammys awards over the years.

Definitely worth going. They have different floors dedicated for different celebrities. Loved the Katy Perry section, it was awesome! And also they got tons of props and setups where you can take pictures with life like statues around you. Definitely take a fresh hours in hand and pay this place a visit, worth every single dollar!

1st visit, will be back. Good retrospective of rock/pop/punk/hip hop music progression from mid 1900's to modern day. It does focus on Grammy award winners & those inducted into R&R Hall of fame, probably because it's a small place. It' built very vertically. There's remarkable little mention of influential artists/bands such as Beatles, Stones, (many of the "British Invasion" era). Individual tribute exhibits are done well: saw Cole Porter & the band X. Plan on spending 4 hrs. or so.

My girlfriend and I had a good time here. It's a nice place to visit! For the $12.95 we paid each, you can't go wrong. A lot of history is in this building!
